This book reads like a rough draft. It is riddled with errors, and I usually overlook small things. Words are missing, and "off" becomes "of." There is a lot of clunky dialogue which is obviously reconstructed, and the dialogue is in dialect ("mudder" for "mother" etc.) The lack of proofing is so bad that I bailed several pages in.
Good book. Good storyline. I didn't care much for the ending and was somewhat confused as of who the abuser was at the Millers but overall good book.
This book is one of a kind. She goes through so much & battles it in the most inspiring way. Worth the read. But I would really like to hear the rest of her story. There is so many unanswered questions I'm left with after reading.
I never know what to write here but this book was so painful and real. Thank you for sharing your story. It not only touched my heart but it was well written.
