In this third installment of her life in Mallorca series Anna Nicholas begins building her cattery. Why does she have a dream of owning a cattery? Other than liking cats I don't know. It's not as though she needs something else to do. Anna is still flying back and forth to London for face time with staff and clients and to enjoy the lovely weather. Ms. Nicholas has a serious offer from another PR firm and it looks like she might be free to spend more time in Mallorca soon. This time the animal theme is goats so she does her best to mention goats as much as possible.I had high hopes that she wouldn't talk to Johnny the toad anymore, but she does. Because of earlier events it's not as annoying as in earlier books, but still sort of silly.This book was more enjoyable than the first two. If I hadn't purchased all five books together I might not have read further. I'm glad I did because this book is a little more serious. I think Ms. Nicholas writes very well, but sometimes uses 25 words when she could use eight.Anna Nicholas still seems to have more energy than any other middle aged woman I have ever known. You have to respect or maybe envy that.How much of her books is fiction is a mystery. Quite a bit I think. She's not going to give real names of friends, companies, coworkers or clients. I can't get a feel for when they moved to Mallorca or how long they've been there. It's frustrating thinking that a book that's supposed to be nonfiction might be mostly fiction. The little bits that seem real are interesting enough for me to go on to the next book in a few months.
