Got it for my 5 yr. old grandson who just started playing soccer. I read it first and learned a lot.
Bought for a young man just starting to play soccer as well as a copy for myself so that I understand the ins and outs of soccer
Bought this thinking it would be good for my son so he could understand soccer but it's more for adults than younger kids.
Great book. Helps you understand the basics of soccer but wish it had been a little more descriptive for kids! lacks pictures...
I purchased this book from my 10 yr old daughter and she enjoyed it. She is an avid soccer player and says the book helped her. I would reccomend the book for beginner players.

I recently bought this book for my young children who wanted to start to learn how to play soccer and they are enjoying it very much. In fact, they often take the book outside, open it to certain pages, and practice the drills themselves. It is really geared towards players of all levels and is a good first soccer book.
It was probably my fault for not noticing the publication date. Very out of date layout and B&W photos. I didn't give it as the gift as I had planned.
